ADDITIVE 3D PRINTING

During the production of polymeric or metal parts with 3D additive printing technology, dusts are used, often very fine, which needs to be safely vacuumed. Powders can be plastic or metal, in small or large quantities. In both cases, these powders generate potentially explosive atmospheres and for correct handling, it is necessary to use ATEX certified industrial vacuums. As for metal powders, it is necessary to use specific IIIC-certified vacuum cleaners, therefore suitable for vacuuming conductive dust.

Depureco Industrial Vacuums has a range specifically designed to be used in additive manufacturing departments, with both polymers and metals. With regard to plastic powders, it is possible to use compact and manageable single-phase vacuums but also centralized solutions to be able to serve multiple work points simultaneously and manage the collection of dust in a single place within the company. For metal powders, Depureco has designed various ATEX IIIC certified solutions, both with forced suction in the inerting bath and with dry filtration solutions, avoiding having to manage the disposal of the inertizer and facilitating the recovery of the powders.

All industrial vacuums are equipped with filters in category M with the possibility of being accompanied by an absolute high-efficiency HEPA H14 filter to stop even the finest dusts.
